About Open House

Open House is a simple but powerful concept: opening up the best of a city’s buildings and infrastructure for all to experience, free of charge. Open House initiatives invite everyone to explore and get to know the value of a well-designed built environment. The first Open House festival was organised in London in 1992 by Open Cities. It has since spread to over 40 cities around the world where Open House weekends happen annually.
