The ‘Cultural Corridor’ of North Belfast centres around Clifton Street, formally one of the finest avenues leading out from the city centre.
The urban fracture of the area has mainly caused by road widening and the Westlink, but a series of fine Listed buildings could form the basis for repair. The buildings now reflect a rich diversity including the Indian Centre and a former Synagogue.
The Tour will start at St Patricks Church at 12.15 pm and stop at Carlisle Memorial Church for an Open House tour before making our way to the Crumlin Road and ending at the Cemetery and Clifton House.
