Queen’s Lanyon Building – Stone, brick & window repair project

The University is investing £5.5m in the conservation of its foundation college, known as the Lanyon Building after its architect, the Victorian polymath Sir Charles Lanyon.

It is the public face of the University and receives many visitors every year supplementing the hundreds of students and staff that move through the central entrance hall on a daily basis.

The conservation works will take nearly two years to complete and consist of repairs to stonework, brickwork, windows and rainwater goods.
