Northern Ireland’s oldest cinema est.1935. Opened as a one screen cinema it changed into a variety theatre (1984), refurbished into a 4 screen cinema (1988) and is now a vibrant independent Arts Centre with daily cinema (2013).
RPP architects won an RIA architectural award in 1998 for renovating the façade. On the tour you will see our Art Deco and shipyard influenced design (curved walls, porthole doors and lighting), 35mm film and digital projectors.
You will also hear about the big plans in development for the building and get special access to the upper floors!
